Panama Pacifico is a public-private partnership between the Panamanian state and developer London & Regional Panama, built around a 40-year sustainable city masterplan — the first of its kind in Latin America. With direct access to downtown Panama City, the Panama Canal and the Pacific Ocean, the mixed-use scheme sits within the country's Special Economic Zone; in its initial phase alone, around a quarter-million square metres of residential and commercial space has been built, leased or sold. Nearly six million square metres of the site are preserved as natural landscape and forest, reflecting its commitment to an ecologically sustainable model.
